Data Center Operations Manufacturing-Phoenix, AZ - 85043 Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage all aspects of the Manufacturing Data Center / Data Rooms at the site.
- Ensure data room operations align with documented customer and global engineering standards.
- Govern physical access and supervise all on-site data room activities.
- Maintain data room documentation, rack elevations, space utilization, and structured cabling.
- Coordinate with Facilities on power, UPS, cooling, capacity planning, and preventive maintenance.
- Act as IT Operations Delivery Lead for hosting services at the site.
- Serve as Single Point of Contact for major incidents; lead resolution of manufacturing-impacting issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Act as escalation point for local IT teams on enterprise infrastructure incidents.
- Coordinate with global infrastructure teams for planned changes and maintenance windows.
- Represent the site in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
- Support manufacturing IT projects from an infrastructure and hosting perspective.
- Ensure compliance with GxP, SOX, and regulatory requirements (FDA audits, validations).
- Maintain awareness of manufacturing applications and site-specific IT infrastructure.
- 7+ years of hands-on Data Center Operations experience.
- 10+ years overall IT support experience, including manufacturing environments.
- Strong experience with racking, cabling, labeling, decommissioning, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of data center facilities infrastructure, virtualization, high availability, and disaster recovery.
- Experience with infrastructure qualification and validation of computerized systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and ITSM tools (ServiceNow preferred).
- Experience supporting regulatory audits (FDA, GxP, SOX).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Willingness to provide 24x7x365 operational support coverage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- General understanding of cybersecurity controls and IT security practices.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- ITIL certification preferred.
- Formal Data Center Management training is a plus.
