AWS Full Stack Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS Full Stack Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of the Currency Data Accountability Platform (CDAP), a mission-critical application built on AWS. This role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications using modern development frameworks, serverless architectures, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in Python-based backend development, modern front-end frameworks (Angular or React), and AWS-native services. This individual will actively contribute to application design, development, testing, deployment, and operational support in a highly regulated environment.

Position Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications supporting the CDAP platform using AWS services.
• Develop backend services using Python and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Model and orchestrate business workflows using AWS Step Functions.
• Build and maintain container-based applications using Docker and related technologies.
• Develop responsive, web-based user interfaces using Angular or React with TypeScript.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate front-end and backend components.
• Implement event-driven architectures using AWS services such as Lambda, SNS, and SQS.
• Utilize AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail to monitor system performance, logging, and auditing in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Perform code remediation, debugging, and unit testing to ensure high-quality application delivery.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of cloud applications.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and produce technical documentation.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and best practices in cloud application development.

 Position Requirements

Required Experience & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience as a software developer/programmer analyst in SDLC and Agile environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python for backend application development.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React using TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
• AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Load Balancers
• AWS Step Functions for workflow orchestration
• DynamoDB, S3, Athena, and Glue for data storage and processing
• SNS and SQS for messaging and event-driven architectures
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git or GitLab.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and auditing using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-based applications.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and integration.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
