Job Location: Remote/Home Based

Description:

AgreeYa is a global Systems Integrator and is seeking an experienced AWS AI / Computer Vision Solution Architect (Hands-On) to assess, design, and lead the development of an AI-powered video analytics solution for a Public Sector customer.

This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring proven experience building Computer Vision and Video Analytics solutions on AWS. The ideal candidate will have expertise designing scalable AI architectures using Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Rekognition, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and Step Functions to process video data, identify physical asset defects, and deliver actionable insights.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, AI/ML engineers, and software development teams to architect secure, scalable, and production-ready AI solutions. This role requires hands-on experience in Computer Vision model development, cloud-native application design, Python development, and AWS solution architecture.

Position Summary

  • As an AWS AI / Computer Vision Solution Architect, you will be responsible for assessing customer requirements, designing scalable AI-powered video analytics solutions, and leading the implementation of cloud-native Computer Vision applications on AWS.
  • This role requires technical expertise in designing AI/ML architectures, developing and deploying Computer Vision models, integrating AWS AI services, and building secure, scalable cloud solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI applications that automate infrastructure inspection and physical asset defect detection.
  • You will work in an Agile environment alongside business partners, product owners, software engineers, cloud architects, and AI/ML specialists to deliver high-quality AI solutions for Public Sector customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess customer requirements and translate business needs into scalable AI-powered Computer Vision solutions.
  • Design and develop end-to-end video analytics architectures on AWS.
  • Architect and implement solutions using Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Rekognition, AWS Lambda, Amazon S3, and AWS Step Functions.
  • Design, train, deploy, and optimize Computer Vision models for object detection, image classification, and defect detection.
  • Develop AI-powered workflows for processing video and image data to identify physical asset defects and anomalies.
  • Build scalable APIs and integrate AI services with enterprise applications and business systems.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to make architecture decisions, establish best practices, and ensure solution scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Design secure AWS cloud architectures following AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts (POCs), prototypes, and production-ready AI applications.
  • Optimize model performance, inference latency, and cloud resource utilization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, solution architecture diagrams, deployment strategies, and implementation guides.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and customer workshops.
  • Evaluate emerging AI, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead technical discussions and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GIS, ArcGIS, or Geospatial Mapping solutions.
  • Experience building Drone Video Analytics solutions.
  • Experience developing Infrastructure Inspection or Asset Monitoring platforms.
  • Experience implementing MLOps pipelines and model lifecycle management.
  • Experience working with Public Sector or Government customers.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or Amazon EKS.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty certification is a plus.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or a related field is preferred.
