Our client is a large U.S. financial institution headquartered in Cincinnati, operating a significant branch and ATM network across multiple states. The organization is a Fortune 500 company and one of the largest banks in the United States, with a long history formed through the merger of predecessor institutions in the early 20th century.

Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $57.00 to $67.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities

Design and implement new features while improving quality of technical products and applications.
Serve as a hands-on developer on an agile squad and participate in agile ceremonies.
Collaborate with software engineers to define system architectures and design solutions.
Develop software that meets code quality standards and metrics.
Practice test-driven development.
Contribute to communities of practice by following standards, reviewing code, and sharing knowledge.
Achieve operational excellence by automating processes and writing maintainable, supportable, and testable code.
Partner with operations and engineering teams to drive service improvement.
Remain current on relevant IT trends.
Assist with problem resolution for end users and customers.
Contribute to the definition of operational procedures for software development.
Maintain controls and documentation to ensure audit compliance.

Experience Requirements:
Experience Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience with Java 17 or higher.
1 to 3 years of experience with Java Spring and Spring Boot.
1 to 3 years of experience in microservice-oriented backend architecture and development.
1 to 2 years of experience working in agile or scrum teams.
Prior experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and JFrog.
Experience with containerization and building Docker images.
Understanding of software development methodologies.
Understanding of security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong collaboration skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or comparable field; or equivalent experience.
