Job Title: Oracle HCM Technical Lead

Job Summary:

Cognizant is urgently seeking a hands-on Oracle HCM Technical Lead to support a critical backfill role with Ford. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle HCM modules, integrations, and reporting, along with deep technical skills in SQL and PL/SQL. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on development in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, development, and support of Oracle HCM technical solutions
• Work extensively on BI Publisher reports, data extracts, and document generation
• Develop and manage integrations using Oracle HCM Cloud tools (HCM Extracts, HDL, APIs, etc.)
• Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, packages, and procedures
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, data discrepancies, and integration failures
• Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and best practices guidance to the team
• Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and system scalability
• Support release cycles, testing, and deployment activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle HCM (Cloud preferred)
• Expertise in:
• BI Publisher (reports, templates, bursting)
• Integrations (HCM Extracts, HDL, REST/SOAP APIs)
• SQL & PL/SQL development
• Experience with data migration, reporting, and interface development
• Strong understanding of HR business processes (Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, etc.)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, onsite/hybrid environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Exposure to Fast Formulas
• Prior experience working with Ford or large enterprise clients
