This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. What You?ll Work On
Be a Key Team Member: Work alongside Operations to minimize downtime and keep production on schedule.
Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose complex equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and repair high-speed filling, packaging, and conveying systems.
Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute PMs, support autonomous maintenance, and plan major repairs during scheduled shutdowns.
Fabricate & Upgrade: Design, weld, and install mechanical and electronic components; perform PLC program changes and maintain AC drive systems.
Collaborate & Improve: Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to implement design changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
Train & Mentor: Share your expertise with peers and provide technical guidance to improve team capabilities.
Ensure Compliance: Follow GMP, FDA, USDA, OSHA, and company safety standards in all tasks.
Shift
Please note: This is a 12-hour Night shift position from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM and allows you to have every other weekend off.
Shift Pattern:
Week 1: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
Week 3: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
Week 4: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
You?ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
2+ years of multi-craft maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, PLC troubleshooting, and fabrication.
Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and use precision tools.
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

The base pay for this position is $20.85 ? $41.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
