Senior Business Systems Analyst

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will work closely with business stakeholders, IT and data teams, project managers, quality assurance professionals, vendors, and leadership to develop high-quality requirements and deliver effective, integrated solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong business relationships to effectively present technology and data-driven solutions that address critical organizational challenges.
• Serve as a business relationship manager for specialized functional and business areas, providing strategic guidance and leadership to support effective organizational change.
• Build strong partnerships with IT and data practitioners, including data governance, project management, and quality assurance teams, to develop detailed, high-quality requirements that enable effective technology and data solutions.
• Serve as a bridge between business needs and technical teams by translating complex technology and data concepts for business stakeholders while effectively communicating business objectives and requirements to technical teams.
• Lead efforts to reengineer systems and improve quality and efficiency by identifying root causes, reducing organizational silos, and driving integrated solutions across business areas.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and advance interoperability across the client's systems, data, and business processes.
• Document comprehensive business and user requirements with clear and precise business-to-technical translation to minimize defects during testing and ensure all solution areas are fully identified.
• Plan and support advanced integrations at both enterprise and detailed levels, conducting thorough research and strategic planning within established governance frameworks.
• Support digital transformation strategic planning and help drive organizational and cultural change as part of the client's digital transformation initiatives.
• Manage expectations across business customers, peers, vendors, and leadership to maintain alignment and support the successful delivery of solutions.
• Follow established governance practices and actively promote their adoption across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Consultant, or in a similar technology or government-related role.
• 8+ years of experience in business analysis and problem-solving within a consultative or project-based environment.
• 8+ years of experience cultivating and managing business relationships with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, data, business, project management, and leadership audiences.
• 8+ years of experience creating and documenting business requirements and user stories.
• 8+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with the Salesforce platform, including supporting business processes and eliciting and documenting requirements.
• Experience collaborating with technical and business stakeholders in a Salesforce environment.
• Salesforce Certified Business Analyst certification is highly preferred.
