Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex IT infrastructure projects, focusing on network management, storage solutions, security implementations, and firewall management. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale infrastructure projects within enterprise environments.

Qualifications & Skills:

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure project management.
• Proven experience in networking, security, and storage projects.

Technical Knowledge:

• Deep understanding of cloud migrations (Azure/AWS), networking (Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper), and security protocols.
• Hands-on experience in firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), network monitoring, and storage management (NetApp, EMC, Hitachi, Dell).
• Strong knowledge of IT security frameworks and compliance standards.

Soft Skills:

• Strong leadership and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Management:

• Oversee network infrastructure upgrades, implementations, and optimizations across WAN/LAN, SD-WAN, and cloud-based networks.
• Work with network engineers and vendors to manage configurations, routing, switching, and connectivity across enterprise environments.
• Ensure high availability and redundancy in network architectures.

Storage Management:

• Manage enterprise storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage (Azure Blob, AWS S3).
• Optimize storage performance, capacity planning, and data lifecycle management.
• Ensure backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies align with business continuity goals.

Security & Firewall Management:

• Implement and manage network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and endpoint security.
• Work with cybersecurity teams to enforce security policies, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Manage firewall rule configurations, policy updates, and security audits.

Project & Stakeholder Management:

• Lead cross-functional teams, coordinating with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Develop project plans, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Ensure all infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
• Provide regular status reports to leadership and ensure compliance with IT governance.

Preferred Experience:

• Managing network segmentation, firewall rules, and security hardening.
• Working with enterprise cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience in high-availability infrastructure and disaster recovery planning.

Certifications (Preferred):

• PMP, PRINCE2 (Project Management)
• ITIL v4 (IT Service Management)
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP (Network Management)
• AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform Cloud Certifications
• CISSP, CISM, or CEH (Security Certifications)
