Job Title: Project Manager (Transformation SCM and AI)

Location: Remote anywhere in the US (with preference toward either RTP or SJC campuses)

Duration: 06+ months (with extension possible)

•         As a Project Manager for Global Planning Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Cisco''s supply chain planning capabilities.

•         You will be responsible for driving the strategy, planning, and execution of key projects, with a strong emphasis on leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance our planning processes, improve decision-making, and deliver greater business value.

•         This role offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic direction, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the cutting-edge application of AI in a complex global supply chain.

Role Overview:

•         Responsible for executing projects across multiple teams to deliver approved project outcomes.

•         Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor accountability.

•         Coordinate global planning operations and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

•         Ensure alignment with strategic goals and compliance with organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities:

•         Develop and maintain detailed project plans including schedules, resources, and budgets.

•         Lead end-to-end project management activities from initiation through delivery.

•         Manage stakeholder communications and expectations globally.

•         Coordinate logistics and resources for global initiatives.

•         Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed.

•         Collaborate with global partners and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

•         Utilize project management tools and platforms to track and report project status.

Skills and Qualifications:

•         Strong organizational and leadership skills.

•         Experience in managing complex, multi-region projects.

•         Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project Online, Asana, Miro, etc).

•         Ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and cultures.

•         Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

•         Bachelor''s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

Desired Qualifications:

•         Minimum of 3+ years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex, cross-functional projects.

•         Proven experience in the implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions, including understanding of AI concepts, methodologies, and common applications in business contexts.

•         Familiarity with AI technologies such as machine learning, predictive analytics, natural language processing, and their potential applications in supply chain planning.

•         Demonstrated experience in leading transformation initiatives within a global supply chain or planning organization.

•         Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles, including demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, S&OP.

•         Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Asana, Miro).

•         Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

•         Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus across all levels of the organization.

•         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global environment.
