Job DetailsResponsibilities:
1. Design, develop, and test power electronics, including power systems, battery technology, and schematic diagrams.
3. Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
4. Use computer-assisted engineering software (AutoCAD) to perform engineering tasks.
5. Support manufacturing department with product development and testing.
6. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
7. Identify opportunities for improvements and make constructive suggestions for change.
8. Manage project team resources and delegate tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
9. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, ensuring adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficient in the use of AutoCAD or other computer-aided design software.
4. In-depth knowledge of power systems, battery technology, and schematic design (Rectifiers, Inverters, Converters, DC Power)
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Strong organizational and project management skills.
7. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
9. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
10. Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.
