Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain Management (SCM) - Procure to Pay (PTP) Consultant to lead and support the design, configuration, and implementation of procurement processes within SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP SCM modules, particularly PTP, and have hands-on experience in end-to-end procurement lifecycle management, system integration, and migration projects.
This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to streamline procurement workflows, customize SAP functionalities to meet organizational needs, and ensure seamless integration with other SCM, Finance, and Logistics modules. The successful candidate will also support post-implementation activities, user training, and continuous process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business units to understand procurement and supply chain requirements and translate these into SAP solutions.
System Configuration & Customization: Configure SAP S/4HANA SCM modules, focusing on PTP processes, including requisitions, purchase orders, vendor management, and invoice verification.
Process Design & Optimization: Design efficient procurement workflows aligned with industry best practices and organizational policies.
Implementation & Migration: Support SAP S/4HANA implementation, including data migration, testing, and go-live activities.
Integration & Automation: Ensure seamless integration of PTP with other modules such as MM, FI, Warehouse Management, and Logistics.
Post-Go-Live Support: Provide ongoing support, troubleshoot system issues, and implement continuous improvements.
User Training & Documentation: Develop training materials, conduct end-user training sessions, and prepare detailed technical and process documentation.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure procurement processes comply with organizational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and management to ensure project success.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of SAP updates, industry trends, and best practices related to supply chain and procurement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA SCM modules, particularly PTP.
Strong understanding of procurement lifecycle, sourcing strategies, vendor management, and invoice processing.
Hands-on experience with SAP configuration, customization, and testing.
Familiarity with SAP data migration tools and procedures.
Experience working on SAP implementation projects, preferably in S/4HANA.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology or other project management frameworks.
Basic understanding of supply chain management principles and industry standards.
Educational Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
SAP certifications in S/4HANA Procurement, SCM modules, or related areas are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Cloud or SAP Ariba procurement solutions.
Exposure to global supply chain operations and multi-country implementations.
Experience with Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
Ability to train end-users and create comprehensive documentation.
Familiarity with compliance standards, audit requirements, and industry best practices.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
