Job Description:
Participate in requirements analysis and impact assessment for enhancements defect fixes modernization or regulatory changes
Design develops enhance and maintain application components using standard mainframe technologies ensuring alignment with client's approved coding security and architectural standards
Perform analysis coding unit testing and documentation for batch programs online transactions and interfaces running on the mainframe platform
Analyse troubleshoot and resolve production incidents and defects
Support system testing integration testing and user acceptance testing UAT by providing defect fixes data corrections and validation support
Participate in code reviews design reviews release planning and operational readiness activities.
Must Have Skills:
Very strong on Mainframe Enterprise Cobol, JCL.
Hands-on and an expert in VSAM, DB2 and CICS.
Clients are looking for hands-on and senior resources with expertise who can set up and drive the team.
