Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for identifying and assessing electronic components to verify compliance with technical specifications and performance criteria
• Conduct reviews and analyses of datasheets, specifications, and BOMs to verify component suitability and maintain accurate documentation
• Support component lifecycle management, including tracking obsolescence and sourcing alternatives to ensure continuity and reliability.
• Partner with cross-functional teams - including commodity managers, design

• Manage Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and perform Bill of Materials (BOM) cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing
• Play a key role in keeping component libraries and documentation organized, accurate, and ready to support engineering projects.
• Ensure adherence to industry standards such as RoHS, REACH, UL, and other relevant safety regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or mechanical engineering.
• Comprehensive understanding of a wide range of components - from semiconductors and passive devices to connectors and electromechanical parts
• Ability to read and understand technical datasheets and specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to create, analyze, and present data effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

Work Experience

• Preferably at least one (1) year of experience in Component and Sales Engineering
