Project Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a mid level Project Manager with strong leadership and people skills to independently lead multiple projects. You will build work breakdown structures and project plans from the ground up, manage initiatives that require active direction (the projects do not self-manage), and thrive in a relationship-built culture.

Military or civil service experience is highly preferred, along with familiarity with ServiceNow. No certifications required at hire, but we will cover costs for obtaining a relevant certification within your first 12 months. This role reports into a Director (with 3 direct reports) and involves external team coordination. We value diversity and leaders who respond well to coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently develop project plans, WBS, timelines, and risk strategies.
• Provide hands-on leadership to drive project success and team performance.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships in a collaborative environment.
• Use ServiceNow or similar tools for tracking and reporting.
• Respond positively to coaching and promote inclusive practices.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management experience building and executing plans independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for a relationship-driven culture.
• Local to Nashville area (within ~50 miles; able to be onsite ~3 days/week).
• ServiceNow experience a strong plus.

Preferred:

• Interest in earning a relevant certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, ServiceNow-related) within 12 months—costs covered upon success.
