Lead Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant (Active CPA Required)

Key Responsibilities
- Architectural & Business Leadership
- Lead end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and optimization projects across Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud modules.
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT teams and client finance executives (CFOs, Controllers, Accounting Managers).
- Translate complex US GAAP / IFRS accounting principles into scalable Oracle system configurations (e.g., revenue recognition, lease accounting rules, intercompany eliminations).
- Functional Design & Configuration
- Lead business process design, fit-gap analysis, and requirement-gathering workshops.
- Configure modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CM), Expenses, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Design Chart of Accounts (COA) structures, multi-org/multi-currency setups, and secondary ledgers.
- Testing, Governance & Reporting
- Manage Conference Room Pilots (CRP), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover activities, and post-go-live hypercare.
- Build functional specs for custom extensions, BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, and integrations.
- Oversee financial data migration strategy and ensure complete reconciliation between legacy systems and Fusion Financials.
CategoryRequirements
CertificationActive CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CA) required.
EducationBachelor s or Master s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems (MIS).
ERP Experience8+ years of Oracle Financials experience, with a minimum of 3 5 years leading Oracle Fusion / ERP Cloud implementations.
Functional ExpertiseDeep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, FA, Cash Management, SLA, and Financial Reporting Web Studio (FRWS) / OTBI.
Accounting DepthStrong foundation in corporate accounting, financial consolidation, intercompany processing, and month-end/year-end closing procedures.
