Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Platform Engineer with 8 10 years of hands-on
experience in Apigee development and runtime management, CI/CD pipeline
setup, platform certification support, and outage/incident management. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and supporting API platform
capabilities, ensuring platform stability, release readiness, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and manage Apigee-based API platform components.
Handle Apigee runtime management, environment configuration, deployments,
and platform administration.
Set up, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for API and platform
deployments.
Provide support for platform certification activities, including compliance,
validation, and release readiness.
Lead and support outage management, production incident resolution, root
cause analysis, and service restoration.
Monitor platform health, performance, and availability to ensure reliable
operations.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and operations teams for
seamless platform delivery.
Support platform upgrades, patching, and deployment automation initiatives.
Drive operational best practices for stability, governance, and continuous
improvement.
Required Skills
Strong experience in Apigee development and API proxy implementation.
Hands-on expertise in Apigee runtime management and platform operations.
Experience in CI/CD pipeline setup and deployment automation.
Good understanding of certification and release support processes.
Strong experience in outage/incident management and production support.
Knowledge of API lifecycle management, deployment processes, and
environment management.
Experience with monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools.
Familiarity with automation/scripting for operational tasks.
Exposure to enterprise integration and API management frameworks.
Experience working in high-availability enterprise environments.
Qualification
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
8 10 years of relevant IT industry experience.
