Position Overview
The Client is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer / Systems Analyst 3 to support enterprise cloud, data, and AI platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Azure cloud technologies, DevOps automation, Snowflake administration, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-enabled data platform integration.
This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure and data solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support enterprise modernization initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based cloud infrastructure and DevOps solutions.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git-based workflows.
- Administer and optimize Snowflake environments, including RBAC, security, performance tuning, and warehouse management.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts for infrastructure, deployment, and data engineering processes.
- Support containerized applications and orchestration platforms, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Design and maintain scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud data integration solutions.
- Integrate AI/ML capabilities into cloud and data platforms.
- Implement monitoring, logging, observability, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.
- Collaborate with development, data engineering, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable system operations.
- Establish governance, security, compliance, and best practices across cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and performance issues.
- Create technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud infrastructure, or systems analysis.
- Strong expertise with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Extensive Snowflake administration experience, including security, RBAC, performance optimization, and warehouse management.
- Advanced Python scripting and automation experience.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, preferably AKS.
- Strong knowledge of data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud data integration.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and enterprise platform integration.
- Experience with Azure Monitoring, Log Analytics, centralized logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing AI-enabled data platforms such as Snowflake Cortex and machine learning pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working within large enterprise or public-sector environments.
- Exposure to Snowflake AI and Cortex capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Work Arrangement
- Hybrid Schedule: 3 days remote, 2 days onsite (Monday and Wednesday required onsite).
- Candidates must currently reside in Texas and be local to the Austin area.
- Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required.
