Job Summary:

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to develop and deploy AI-powered vision solutions for warehouse automation systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in computer vision, deep learning, real-time video analytics, and AI model deployment. The role focuses on inventory monitoring, object detection, obstacle detection, robot monitoring, safety analytics, and operational optimization within warehouse environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop computer vision and AI-based solutions for warehouse automation environments.

• Design and implement object detection, object tracking, image segmentation, and anomaly detection models.

• Perform camera selection, calibration, and vision system setup.

• Develop real-time video analytics solutions for warehouse operations.

• Integrate computer vision solutions with robotics, edge devices, and cloud platforms.

• Optimize AI models for deployment on edge devices and GPU platforms.

• Collaborate with product, robotics, and software engineering teams.

• Support solution architecture, Proofs of Concept (PoCs), customer demonstrations, and production deployments.

Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.

• Hands-on experience with OpenCV.

• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.

• Strong knowledge of object detection, object tracking, image segmentation, and OCR.

• Experience with YOLO or similar deep learning frameworks.

• Understanding of camera systems, image processing, and video analytics.

• Experience deploying computer vision solutions in Linux-based environments.

• 8+ years of overall experience, with 5+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and AI solution development preferred as per the job description.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with robotics, Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), or Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV).

• Knowledge of HALCON, Cognex, or industrial vision systems.

• Experience with Edge AI, NVIDIA Jetson, Docker, and GPU optimization.

Education:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
