Summary

A fast-growing organization in the collaboration technology space is seeking a Front End Engineer (Angular) to join its team building a cloud-based collaboration platform. This role is based in Boston, MA and focuses on building highly interactive, data-driven web applications using Angular 17, TypeScript, RxJS, and Firebase.

This is an opportunity to work on a modern, scalable product that directly impacts how large construction projects are planned and executed. Engineers in this role will help shape intuitive user experiences for complex workflows, contribute to architectural decisions, and work with asynchronous data streams in a highly collaborative environment. 6+ years of professional front-end development experience
Strong expertise with Angular (v8+), ideally with experience in Angular 17
Proficient in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
Experience building data-driven web applications with dynamic UI updates
Solid understanding of RxJS or NgRX and reactive programming patterns
Experience working with Firebase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
Strong experience handling asynchronous code, API integration, and state management
Familiarity with RESTful services and real-time data synchronization
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with WebGL or advanced browser-based rendering technologies
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services and deployment pipelines
Understanding of performance optimization techniques for large-scale web apps
Experience with UI/UX best practices and building intuitive user interfaces
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

Daily Responsibilities

60% Building and enhancing interactive UI features for the web platform
20% Managing asynchronous data flows and integrating real-time updates
10% Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, backend)
10% Code reviews, testing, and technical documentation
