SAP RAR Consultant (Support, Maintenance & Implementation)
Location: Dallas, TX / Milpitas, CA / Austin, TX (Hybrid 3 days onsite)

Rate: $55 - $60/hr. on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant to support, maintain, and enhance SAP RAR solutions while participating in ongoing implementation initiatives. The consultant will work closely with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 standards.
Responsibilities
- Configure, support, and maintain SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR).
- Participate in SAP RAR implementation, rollout, and enhancement projects.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Ensure revenue recognition processes comply with ASC 606 and IFRS 15 standards.
- Integrate SAP RAR with SAP SD, FI/CO, BRIM, and other SAP modules.
- Perform system testing, SIT, UAT support, and defect resolution.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams on revenue recognition processes.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Required Skills
- 9+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP RAR.
- Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA RAR implementations and support.
- Deep understanding of revenue recognition principles (ASC 606 / IFRS 15).
- Experience integrating RAR with SAP SD, FI/CO, and BRIM.
- Strong configuration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with requirement gathering, testing, and production support.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Healthcare or medical device industry experience (Omnicell environment preferred).
- SAP S/4HANA implementation experience.
- Exposure to SAP Fiori and SAP Activate methodology.
- Experience in global revenue recognition processes.
