Technical Writer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Writer in Boston, MA.

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Writer to develop, revise, and maintain clear, accurate technical documentation. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to translate complex products and process information into compliant, user-friendly materials.

Key Responsibilities:
* Create, review, and maintain technical documentation (e.g., IFUs, manuals, appendices)
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards
* Translate technical and business requirements into effective documentation
* Collaborate with project teams to meet timelines and milestones
* Communicate status updates and identify documentation risks or issues
* Support documentation process improvements and best practices

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required
* 3-5+ years of technical writing experience in life sciences
* Experience with medical devices and/or IVD documentation
* Knowledge of industry regulations and documentation governance
* Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
* Proficiency with desktop publishing tools (Microsoft Office; Adobe FrameMaker preferred)
* Experience with MadCap Flare a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
