RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a Threat Analyst.

Overview:
We are seeking a Threat Intelligence Analyst with strong knowledge of China and Taiwan, along with working proficiency in Mandarin, to support research and analysis of cyber-enabled influence operations and emerging geopolitical threats across East Asia. This position is ideal for candidates with a passion for geopolitical analysis, open-source intelligence (OSINT), and assessing evolving threat landscapes. The successful candidate will conduct research, produce analytical reports, and brief stakeholders on influence operations, information threats, and regional developments impacting the security environment.

Key Responsibilities:
* Research and assess cyber-enabled influence operations and emerging threats across East Asia at both tactical and strategic levels
* Analyze influence actors, networks, and campaigns using open-source intelligence, social media analysis, geopolitical developments, and other publicly available information sources
* Monitor and evaluate the activities of state and non-state threat actors, including emerging AI-enabled influence techniques
* Produce timely intelligence products, including threat assessments, executive summaries, and in-depth analytical reports
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate technical, geopolitical, and regional insights into intelligence assessments
* Deliver written briefings and presentations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner
* Apply ethical, legal, and innovative research methodologies to identify and assess influence threats and information operations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Political Science, International Relations, Security Studies, Global Affairs, East Asian Studies, Area Studies, or a related field
* 2+ years of professional, academic, research, intelligence, or policy analysis experience
* Working proficiency in Mandarin, including the ability to read and analyze Mandarin-language sources.
* Strong knowledge of China, Taiwan, and East Asian geopolitical dynamics
* Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills with the ability to communicate complex topics effectively
* Experience producing concise, well-structured analytical reports and assessments
* Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to present findings to diverse stakeholders
* Experience conducting open-source intelligence (OSINT) research

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
