The State of Michigan is looking for: Software Test Analyst 5 - MDHHS ARC (New name for MiARC project)
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
-5+ years experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
-5+ years experience analyzing requirements, user stories (in Azure DevOps), and acceptance criteria to design effective, reusable test cases (including positive, negative, and boundary testing).
-Demonstrable experience automating web applications using frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
-5+ years experience generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
-5+ years experience API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client, and others.
Preferred:
-Experience automating web applications using the Playwright for Java library.
-A background in Selenium WebDriver, which provides a strong foundation for understanding the strategies and nuances of browser automation.
- Interview Process: 60-minute Virtual Interview via MS Teams (video required). Candidates should join from a laptop and be prepared to share their screen if requested. A screenshot photo of candidate will be required for any interviews as well as a vendor present at beginning of virtual interview to validate candidate. We are planning to schedule interviews starting on 6/25
- Assignment duration: Initial 1-year contract with a possibility of extension based on performance and business needed.
- Hybrid Work Schedule (Non-Negotiable): There is no remote-only option
Required onsite days- Wednesdays and Thursdays
Remote eligible days- Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays
