Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant (OHIO)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP Consultant to support the implementation and optimization of enterprise payment and treasury solutions within Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and/or Business Central (BC) environments. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and technical teams to streamline financial operations and improve payment workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

Implementation & Integration:

• Lead end-to-end implementation of payment solutions within Dynamics 365 F&O and/or Business Central
• Gather and analyze business requirements across AR, AP, Banking, Cash Management, and Order-to-Cash cycles
• Support API integrations, data mapping, validation, testing, and troubleshooting

Solution Design & Configuration:

• Translate business and financial requirements into functional design documents
• Configure Dynamics modules including:
  • Accounts Receivable / Payable
  • Cash & Bank Management
  • General Ledger
  • Sales & Invoicing
  • Electronic Payment Workflows
• Validate end-to-end payment processes including settlement, reconciliation, refunds, and chargebacks

Client Advisory & Optimization:

• Act as a subject matter expert for Dynamics ERP financial workflows and integrations
• Recommend best practices for automation, reconciliation, and financial controls
• Provide training, documentation, and ongoing support to clients

Collaboration:

• Work with product, engineering, and sales teams for solution enhancements and pre-sales support
• Assist in solution demos and provide technical/functional expertise

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and/or Business Central
• Strong understanding of financial processes: AR, AP, banking, cash management, and order-to-cash
• Experience with ERP integrations, especially payment gateways or financial systems
• Strong knowledge of workflows, security roles, and financial modules in Dynamics
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (F&O, Business Central, or Power Platform)
• Experience with ACH, card processing, RTP, or wire payments
• Background in ERP consulting, fintech, or financial services
• Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse)
• Exposure to API integrations, AL extensions (BC), or X++ concepts (F&O)
