Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Walker that are seeking IT Systems Administrators. Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Manage and support virtualized environments (VMware vSphere) for server infrastructure and applications.
• Implement and manage network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems through regular patching, backups, and security audits.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across manufacturing operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to understand their IT needs and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing and maintaining IT infrastructure in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security best practices.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently to minimize production downtime.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and their integration with manufacturing operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with SCADA or MES systems.
• Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP).
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments.
• Certifications in relevant industrial automation technologies (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000).
