Role Overview
We are actively searching for an experienced Senior UI Developer to leverage their technology skills in developing business solutions within the healthcare industry. This role is part of a newly formed development team contributing to a high-profile enterprise application as part of a modernization initiative for lab systems. The position involves engaging in web application development, automation, and providing technical leadership within agile development teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop modern and fast single-page Angular applications to address complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with UX design teams, project managers, and business analysts to create intuitive and easy-to-use software.
- Integrate REST APIs into front-end applications and work with back-end services.
- Follow best practices for test-driven development, including designing functional and system integration tests and automation.
- Perform code and design reviews with peers.
- Contribute to the evolution of software solutions and ensure client requirements are met.
- Deliver functional prototypes, reusable UI components, and implementations of application UIs.
- Work as an independent contributor and team collaborator practicing Agile/SCRUM methodologies.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in hands-on UI development.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent five years of professional experience as a Lead Developer, User Interface Developer, or Software Engineer.
Technical Skills:- Strong, recent experience in Angular development (versions 14-16, with migration to newer versions).
- Solid JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals and object-oriented development principles.
- Strong experience with RxJS and state management using NgRx.
- Expert knowledge of HTML and CSS/SCSS, with the ability to translate complex UX designs into efficient front-end UI.
- Experience with UI libraries and standards such as Angular Material, Material Design, or Bootstrap.
- Experience with UI testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., DB2, Oracle) or NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, OpenSearch).
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude, Cursor, or Codex.
- Experience with charting libraries such as D3.js or Chart.js.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated conversion salary for this position is between $110,000 and $135,000 annually. This employer offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.
