About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to support supply chain data initiatives within a dynamic IT environment. This role focuses on building and managing data solutions that power supply chain operations, enhance data-driven decision-making, and align with enterprise data strategy. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality data products across cloud and on-premise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end data engineering efforts, including pipeline design, development, testing, and deployment
• Partner with architects, data scientists, and developers to ensure consistent and scalable data solutions
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to support supply chain applications and analytics
• Ensure data quality, governance, and adherence to established engineering standards
• Contribute to sprint planning, prioritization, and Agile delivery processes
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate new tools, technologies, and business use cases
• Troubleshoot data issues and implement fixes to ensure smooth data operations
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to exchange and integrate data across systems
• Deliver demos and walkthroughs of data solutions to stakeholders
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships with a focus on business outcomes and customer needs

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering or database development
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and data modeling techniques
• Proficiency in ETL development using tools/languages such as Python and Google Cloud Dataflow
• Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services
• Exposure to building scalable, enterprise-level data solutions
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Certifications in Data Engineering and/or Cloud technologies
• Familiarity with BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, BigQuery, Vertex AI, or similar platforms
• Experience leading or coordinating tasks within a team
• Strong organizational and stakeholder management skills
