What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Technical BA, or similar role in software delivery.
• Strong discovery and requirements skills: you can move from conversations to structured, testable requirements quickly.
• Comfort in technical discussions: APIs, data flows, basic system behavior, and how to ask the right questions of engineers.
• Excellent written communication—your artifacts are clear, concise, and usable by engineering and business partners.
• Strong stakeholder management: you build rapport, handle conflict professionally, and create alignment without force.
• Ability to think in workflows and data: process mapping, edge cases, exceptions, and operational controls.
• High integrity and maturity: you are transparent, consistent, and trusted—especially under pressure.
Nice to Have
- Experience in operations, finance, accounting, or control-oriented domains (reconciliations, reporting, hand-offs, approvals).
- Familiarity with agile delivery (stories, backlogs, iteration planning), while being comfortable in less mature environments.
- Experience working with data stores and queries (SQL basics), or partnering on reporting and analytics needs.
- Exposure to event-driven or workflow-based systems (messaging, orchestration), and understanding how these affect requirements and audit trails.
