Seeking a Cloud Data Migration Engineer with hands-on experience migrating Oracle workloads to AWS using AWS DMS, supporting full-load, CDC, and real-time streaming data migration architectures. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS infrastructure and networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, VPNs, Direct Connect), cloud-native services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda), and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with ETL/ELT processes, migration planning, cutover and rollback strategies, automation using Python/Bash/PowerShell, and monitoring through CloudWatch and CloudTrail is required. Strong communication skills and experience modernizing legacy on-premises systems in hybrid cloud environments are highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements:

Experience in IT, supporting the design, development, deployment, or delivery of technology solutions.
Experience with batch and real-time data ingestion, including full loads, Change Data Capture (CDC), and streaming architectures.
Experience with AWS cloud services, specifically designing and implementing infrastructure and networking (VPC, subnets, security groups, routing).
Experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda) and infrastructure-as-code tools (CloudFormation or Terraform).
Experience configuring and managing cloud network security, including VPNs, Direct Connect, and security groups.
Preferred
AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Database – Specialty.

Experience working in public sector or state government environments.
