The Code Observability team is building an analytics platform that creates invaluable insights for Apple's development teams and their leadership. You'll work on all aspects of the system including web applications, services, infrastructure as code, data modeling, documentation, and other tools. Work directly with customers to understand their requirements and develop solutions that prioritize usability, performance, maintainability, and security.\n\nIn your role as a Software Engineer you will:\n\n* Design and build backend services, web applications, and real-time data pipelines that surface code quality metrics at scale.\n* Integrate seamlessly with GitHub, Bitbucket, and Apple's custom build and test services\n* Create data models and exploratory visualizations for project and org-wide analysis.\n* Design novel analysis techniques and improve core build and test systems.\n* Integrate GenAI services to provide intelligent insights.\n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical designs to your team, customers, and leadership.\n* Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and team standards while creating documentation and tools.\n\nHere you'll find that we are committed to excellence in analytics and software development, working alongside a team of highly skilled colleagues who are open to collaboration and knowledge sharing. 3+ years building distributed services and web applications.\nStrong programming skills in at least one systems language such as Swift, Rust, or Go.\nProficiency with SQL and web technologies.\nExperience improving code quality and deployment velocity through CI/CD and testing practices.

Strong communication skills and passion for developer experience.\nTypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React.\nContainerized environments and Kubernetes.\nData warehousing and database platforms (Snowflake, Postgres).\nGitHub and Bitbucket App integrations.\nGenAI/LLM integrations, observability systems, or developer productivity tools.
