Position Overview
We are currently looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Nuclear Medicine Radiologist to enhance clinical services at:
- Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT
- Johnson Memorial Hospital in Stafford Springs, CT

- This is a full-time, onsite role, operating Monday through Friday, with additional evening and weekend on-call responsibilities.

Preferred Experience
- Completion of a residency in Radiology and a fellowship in Nuclear Medicine.
- Extensive knowledge of the full range of Nuclear Medicine examinations and modalities.
- Strong skills in interpreting nuclear medical imaging, performing therapeutic procedures, and supervising procedures, with a commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.
- Familiarity with advanced imaging technology, PACS, PowerScribe, and current radiology IT systems.
- Experience in high-volume clinical settings within an integrated health system.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with referring clinicians and multidisciplinary teams.
- Involvement in quality improvement initiatives or development of radiology practices.
- Interest or experience in teaching residents or medical students.
Certification & Licensure
- Board certified or eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology (AOBR).
- Certification or eligibility from the American Board of Nuclear Medicine (ABNM).
- A valid medical license in Connecticut or eligibility for one.
- Authorized user certification will be required upon hiring.
- DEA registration and state-controlled substance certification, or eligibility to obtain both.
- Maintained credentialing in line with medical staff bylaws and regulatory standards.
- Current BLS certification (ACLS may be optional based on subspecialty).
