Job Title: Senior Power Platform Developer / Power Apps Architect

Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced PowerApps Architect / Senior Power Platform Developer with 10+ years of overall IT experience and deep hands-on expertise in Microsoft Power Platform. This role requires strong architecture, design, and development skills across Dataverse, Canvas Apps, Model-Driven Apps, Power Automate, and enterprise-grade integrations. The ideal candidate will lead solution design, mentor development teams, and deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance Power Platform solutions integrated with complex backend systems.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Solution Design
- Define end-to-end Power Platform architecture aligned with enterprise standards, security, and scalability
- Design Dataverse data models, relationships, security roles, and governance strategies
- Lead solution design for Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps based on business use cases
- Establish Power Platform best practices, design standards, and reusable components
Development & Customization
- Design and develop complex Canvas Apps with advanced UI/UX, responsive layouts, and performance optimization
- Build and customize Model-Driven Apps, including forms, views, dashboards, and business rules
- Develop custom connectors for real-time integration with 3rd-party and enterprise systems
- Implement backend real-time integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven patterns
- Configure and troubleshoot OAuth 2.0 authentication flows (client credentials, authorization code, token refresh, JWT)
- Develop multi-step, role-based approval workflows using Power Automate (parallel, conditional, escalation logic)
- Implement complex business logic, validations, and error handling across apps and flows
Integration & Security
- Integrate Power Platform with external systems (ERP, MDM, CRM, HR, Finance, custom APIs)
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using:
- OAuth 2.0
- Entra ID
- Service principals and managed identities
- Design secure API access patterns and data protection strategies
- Troubleshoot integration issues related to tokens, throttling, latency, and retries
- CI/CD & ALM
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Power Platform using:
- Azure DevOps / GitHub
- Solutions (managed & unmanaged)
Environment-based deployment strategies
- Automate solution packaging, deployment, and rollback across Dev / Test / UAT / Prod
- Enforce source control, code reviews, and release governance
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor Power Platform developers and junior architects
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, security teams, and business stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions
- Provide production support, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience - 13
6+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform 12 years - Strong expertise in:
- Dataverse (data modeling, security, performance) -
- Canvas Apps & Model-Driven Apps - 9
- Power Automate (complex workflows, approvals) -
- Extensive experience in:
- Custom connectors - 5
- REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks - 6
- OAuth 2.0 configuration and troubleshooting
- Strong UI development experience (responsive design, usability, performance)
- Proven experience with enterprise-scale, real-time integrations
- Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, security, and ALM
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Nice to Have
- Power Platform CoE and governance framework experience
- Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus
- Integration experience with MDM platforms
- Power Platform certifications
