Job Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled Google Cloud Platform Cloud Engineer – DevOps Engineer to join our team remotely.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) while enabling CI/CD automation, infrastructure reliability, and security best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
• Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Cloud Monitoring and Logging
• Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and cloud-native architectures
• Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards in Google Cloud Platform
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
• Optimize cloud costs, performance, and scalability
• Participate in on-call rotation and production support as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud / DevOps Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
• Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build)
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments
• Knowledge of cloud networking, VPCs, load balancing, and firewalls
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Platform Certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer)
• Experience with SRE practices
• Knowledge of security tools and best practices in Google Cloud Platform
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
