Key Responsibilities
Develop, configure, customize, and maintain ServiceNow applications and modules based on business and technical requirements
Build solutions across ServiceNow capabilities including ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, ITAM, CSM, Service Catalog, Discovery, Service Mapping, and IntegrationHub
Develop custom applications, tables, forms, fields, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, business rules, script includes, ACLs, and other platform components
Develop and maintain workflows and automation using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, and other ServiceNow automation capabilities
Design and develop ServiceNow integrations with enterprise platforms including SAP, ERP, CRM, PLM, MES, HR systems, cloud platforms, monitoring tools, and third-party applications
Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server, web services, and event-driven integration patterns
Develop and maintain integration spokes, custom actions, REST/SOAP integrations, transform maps, import sets, and integration flows
Configure and enhance CMDB, including configuration item models, relationships, data imports, discovery integrations, and CMDB data quality
Develop and maintain Discovery patterns, Service Mapping configurations, and integrations with infrastructure and monitoring platforms
Build Service Catalog items, record producers, catalog workflows, approvals, notifications, and associated automation
Develop automation solutions using Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Virtual Agent, and other ServiceNow capabilities
Implement AI-enabled ServiceNow capabilities including Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, Now Assist, intelligent automation, and operational analytics as applicable
Support integration of ServiceNow with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake for reporting, operational intelligence, and AI-driven use cases
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, performance analytics, and operational metrics to support business and IT teams
Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, releases, enhancements, migrations, and new implementations
Analyze technical requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions following platform best practices
Troubleshoot application, integration, workflow, scripting, and performance issues and provide root-cause analysis
Perform unit testing, system testing, integration testing, regression testing, and defect resolution
Follow ServiceNow development standards related to scripting, security, performance, upgradeability, and maintainability
Use source control, update sets, application repositories, and DevOps practices to manage development and deployments
Collaborate with ServiceNow architects, administrators, business analysts, integration teams, security teams, and enterprise technology teams
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, peer reviews, and development best-practice initiatives
Support production deployments, incident resolution, problem management, and continuous platform improvement
Document technical designs, configurations, integrations, customizations, and operational procedures
Ensure ServiceNow development complies with enterprise security, regulatory, and operational standards
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITOM
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - CMDB
