Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced AI-First Engineer with strong Oracle SCM expertise to drive AI-powered software development and modernization across the complete Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS and a proven ability to leverage Generative AI, Agentic AI, and AI-assisted development tools across requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
This is an AI-first engineering role, not a traditional Oracle SCM development position. Candidates should be able to demonstrate measurable improvements achieved through AI adoption, such as reduced development time, improved code quality, reduced testing effort, faster deployments, and faster incident resolution.
Required Qualifications:
11+ years of software engineering / IT experience
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle SCM Cloud and/or Oracle EBS
Proven experience applying AI/GenAI across the SDLC
Hands-on experience with one or more of:
GitHub Copilot
Oracle Code Assist
ChatGPT
Claude
OCI Generative AI
Experience with Agentic AI frameworks
Strong knowledge of Prompt Engineering and RAG
Experience using AI for requirements analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
Key Responsibilities: AI-Driven SDLC
- Apply AI-enabled engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle
- Use AI/LLMs to analyze business requirements, BRDs, user stories, process flows, and SCM specifications
- Generate technical designs, impact assessments, traceability matrices, solution alternatives, and estimates using AI-assisted workflows
- Use AI to accelerate Oracle Cloud quarterly upgrade impact assessments and fit-gap analysis
- Use GitHub Copilot, Oracle Code Assist, Agentic AI, and similar tools for code generation and development
- Perform AI-assisted code optimization, refactoring, reverse engineering, and legacy modernization
- Develop Oracle SCM customizations, integrations, extensions, reports, and automation solutions
- Apply AI to integration mapping, API development, report generation, and technical documentation
- Develop AI-driven testing strategies for functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT
- Use AI for automated test-case generation and test-data creation
- Implement AI-enhanced regression testing for Oracle Cloud quarterly releases
- Leverage AI for defect triage, root-cause analysis, and predictive quality insights
- Integrate AI-assisted code reviews, security analysis, static code scanning, and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines
- Use AI to generate deployment documentation, release notes, implementation guides, and operational runbooks
- Apply AI-powered monitoring and analytics to evaluate Oracle release readiness and business impact
- Support AI-driven deployment automation and environment management
