Healthcare Data Analyst

As a Healthcare Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and interpreting complex healthcare data to provide meaningful insights and support decision-making processes within the organization. You will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting healthcare data related to claims, members, and providers to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize healthcare knowledge to analyze and interpret data related to claims, members, and providers
• Work with Snowflake to extract, transform, and load data for analysis
• Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Provide production support to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data
• Utilize Oracle/SQL server to query and manipulate data as needed
• Collaborate with team members to present findings and recommendations to stakeholders
• Maintain documentation of data analysis processes and outcomes in Confluence

Requirements:

Required Skills:

• Strong healthcare experience, particularly in claims, members, and providers
• Proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation
• Experience with Snowflake for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets
• Experience in providing production support for data systems
• Knowledge of Oracle/SQL server for database management
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
• Certification in healthcare informatics or related field
• Experience with predictive modeling and data forecasting
