Job#: 3022897 Job Description: The Training Content Designer creates high-quality learning experiences that drive performance and support business goals. You'll partner with subject matter experts, instructors, and business stakeholders to design, develop, implement, and maintain engaging instructor-led, virtual, blended, and digital learning solutions. Deliverables include eLearning modules, facilitator/participant guides, job aids, and performance support tools-all aligned with established standards, templates, and branding.
QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technologies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience & Skills- Proficiency with authoring tools (e.g., Articulate 360), animation tools, and similar development software
- Experience designing training in technical or non-technical fields (e.g., power generation, construction, business operations, compliance, safety) preferred
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, narration tools, and AI-enhanced instructional design highly desired
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
- Project management experience required
- Experience with Learning Management Systems strongly preferred
- Comfortable working in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop curriculum, including learning objectives, content structure, delivery methods, and instructional materials
- Create instructor-led, virtual, blended, and digital learning solutions using proven instructional design methodologies
- Ensure all digital content meets accessibility standards and technical requirements across learning platforms
- Collaborate with SMEs, instructors, and business partners to translate content into effective learning experiences
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with minimal supervision
- Upload, organize, and maintain course files in systems such as SharePoint and the LMS
- Update and republish courses as needed based on customer requests or governance requirements
- Apply adult learning principles and modern learning technologies to enhance engagement and retention
- Lead or contribute to project teams, providing structure and clear communication
- Research emerging learning trends and recommend innovative improvements
