Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics Technical-Functional Lead who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The candidate will be responsible for leading Dynamics solutions, gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing scalable solutions, guiding development teams, and ensuring successful implementation and support.

Must-Have Technical/Functional Skills

• 8+ years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 / Dynamics AX / Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong combination of functional and technical expertise in Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience leading end-to-end Dynamics implementations.
• Strong understanding of business processes including Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing, or Operations.
• Experience gathering requirements, conducting workshops, and translating business needs into functional and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 F&O architecture, configuration, customization, and integrations.
• Experience with X++, .NET/C#, SQL, and Dynamics development frameworks.
• Experience with Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.
• Strong experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Azure services, middleware, and third-party applications.
• Experience with data migration, interfaces, reporting, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of security, roles, workflows, batch processing, and environment management.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical and functional lead for Microsoft Dynamics implementations and enhancements.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, pain points, and future-state processes.
• Conduct requirements gathering and translate business requirements into functional and technical design documents.
• Lead solution design, configuration, customization, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Provide guidance to functional consultants, developers, testers, and offshore/nearshore teams.
• Review technical designs, code, integrations, and development deliverables.
• Design and implement Dynamics 365 integrations with internal and third-party applications.
• Lead data migration, data validation, reconciliation, and cutover activities.
• Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues and provide root-cause analysis.
• Ensure solutions follow Microsoft Dynamics best practices and enterprise architecture standards.
• Coordinate with project managers and business teams regarding scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, production deployment, and hypercare.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and platform optimization.
• Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and release planning.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, configuration documents, and support materials.
