Roles and Responsibilities: Primarily support the pre-production kitting, updating IMT (inventory tool as material is kitted and or integrated) and basic subassembly production for System 4 under the direction of the Production Lead. The interns will perform simple routine tasks under close supervision and from detailed procedures; work will be reviewed for technical adequacy and conformity with instructions. Tasks performed include:
- Following specific layout and drawings/diagrams support the integration of shelters/systems.
- Support various system tests.
- Capture and Compile Failure Data to be used for Reliability Analysis.
- Provide logistics and material movement support.
- Gathering and maintaining specified records of engineering data such as tests, drawings, etc.; performing computations by substituting numbers in specified formulas; plotting data and draws simple curves and graphs.
- Testing of digital and analog cables and connectors.
- Assembly and integration of mechanical and electromechanical components.
- Pre-production kitting.
- Enter information provided into existing templates, on-line forms, databases, etc.
Qualifications Education: Self-motivated
College Student pursuing an opportunity for on-the-job learning skills, explore your career options and gain an insight into an organization or career path.
Experience: - Working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, outstanding initiative, task management skills as well as excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
- Must be able to work in a busy environment.
- Ability to encourage, inspire and participate in teamwork.
