Position Description: 10+ years of relevant SAP Production Planning and Quality Management experience, including hands-on SAP S/4HANA PP QM implementation, solution design, rollout, enhancement, support, manufacturing process design, quality inspection, batch management, and chemical industry process exposure. Candidate must have strong onsite client-facing experience with proven ability to lead workshops, manage business stakeholders, drive solution decisions, coordinate offshore delivery teams, and support program governance.

Must Haves Tech / Functional Skills:

Core SAP S/4HANA PP QM Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience in SAP Production Planning covering demand management, material requirements planning, production orders, process orders, capacity planning, shop floor execution, confirmations, goods movements, and production planning master data.
• Deep functional expertise in SAP Quality Management covering inspection planning, inspection lot processing, results recording, usage decision, quality notifications, quality certificates, batch quality control, and quality integration with procurement, production, and sales.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA PP QM configuration including production versions, routings, recipes, work centers, resources, inspection plans, master inspection characteristics, sampling procedures, quality info records, and inspection type setup.
• Strong exposure to chemical industry processes including process manufacturing, batch management, recipe management, shelf-life management, classification, hazardous material handling awareness, quality compliance, and regulated manufacturing controls.

S/4HANA, Fiori and Industry Process Capabilities

• Experience working with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, SAP Fiori applications, embedded analytics, production monitoring, quality dashboards, material traceability, and exception-based production and quality reporting.
• Ability to validate solution design against SAP standard best practices and recommend fit-to-standard manufacturing and quality management processes wherever applicable.
• Exposure to SAP Activate methodology, fit-gap workshops, sprint-based delivery, testing cycles, cutover support, go-live readiness, and hypercare stabilization for PP QM scope.

Integration and Technical Awareness

• Strong integration knowledge across PP and QM with MM, SD, FI, CO, EWM, PM, procurement, inventory management, batch management, warehouse execution, and manufacturing cost flows.
• Experience preparing functional specifications for RICEFW objects including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, labels, quality certificates, production forms, and shop floor reporting extracts.
• Knowledge of integration points from planning, procurement, production execution, quality inspection, batch release, inventory posting, delivery processing, and finance controlling into end-to-end manufacturing operations.

Documentation, Testing and Support

• Ability to prepare business process design documents, configuration rationale, test scripts, training material, cutover task lists, master data templates, quality process guides, and support handover documents.
• Experience in unit testing, integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, production issue resolution, quality inspection issue handling, and post go-live support.

Experience Required:

• 10+ years of SAP Production Planning and Quality Management experience
• 5+ years of SAP S/4HANA PP QM experience
• 3+ years of lead consultant, onsite coordinator, client-facing, or solution lead experience
• Strong hands-on experience in process manufacturing, production orders, process orders, MRP, shop floor execution, inspection planning, inspection lots, results recording, usage decision, quality notifications, batch management, and quality integration
• Minimum 3 end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation, rollout, migration, or major enhancement projects preferred, with chemical industry exposure highly desirable
• Prior experience leading onsite workshops, managing client expectations, preparing decision papers, coordinating offshore teams, and driving issue resolution across business and IT stakeholders is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead onsite requirement gathering, fit-to-standard workshops, business process validation, solution design discussions, and client-facing decision-making for SAP S/4HANA PP QM processes.
• Act as the primary onsite PP QM functional point of contact for client manufacturing, quality, plant operations, IT, integration, data migration, testing, and project governance teams.
• Lead and review configuration for PP and QM processes including demand management, MRP, production orders, process orders, routings, recipes, production versions, work centers, resources, inspection planning, inspection lots, results recording, usage decision, quality notifications, quality certificates, inspection types, sampling procedures, and quality master data.
• Onsite Leadership and Client Engagement
• Facilitate client workshops, playback sessions, solution walkthroughs, fit-gap discussions, prototype reviews, defect triage meetings, cutover readiness reviews, and business sign-off discussions.
• Translate business requirements into clear solution options, impacts, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and recommendations for client stakeholders and project leadership.
• Manage client expectations, clarify scope boundaries, drive timely decisions, support change impact analysis, and escalate unresolved issues with clear business and delivery context.
• Delivery, Offshore Coordination and Governance
• Coordinate with offshore functional consultants, ABAP, integration, data migration, basis, security, testing, reporting, and support teams to ensure timely delivery of PP QM design, build, testing, and deployment activities.
• Review functional specifications, configuration documents, process flows, test scripts, training material, cutover inputs, master data templates, production readiness checklists, and support handover documentation before client submission.
• Track open issues, dependencies, defects, design decisions, risks, assumptions, and action items; provide concise status updates to project managers, client leads, and governance forums.
• Chemical Industry and Process Manufacturing Focus
• Apply chemical industry process knowledge across process manufacturing, recipe management, batch management, batch determination, batch traceability, shelf-life management, classification, quality compliance, and regulated manufacturing controls.
• Lead testing, cutover planning, mock cutover cycles, master data readiness, production order readiness, inspection lot readiness, batch stock validation, go-live, hypercare, and production stabilization for PP QM scope.
