Business Analyst

Introduction:

The Business Analyst will be responsible for daily review of production incidents, developing system design solutions, gathering requirements, performing gap analysis, and documenting system enhancements. They will work closely with stakeholders and project resources to ensure the successful implementation of business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Daily review of production incidents and prioritize/resolve critical issues
• Develop documents for system design solutions
• Gather requirements, perform gap analysis, and document system enhancements
• Develop structured workflows for specific business goals
• Perform Business Analysis, SCRUM delivery, and Agile Development Methodologies
• Create system documentation and management reports
• Develop detailed specifications and post-implementation documentation
• Work with ITS staff to plan program requirement implementation and changes
• Design reports, audit trails/logs, and security mechanisms
• Perform Testing/Evaluation and integrate system modules
• Implement and monitor information technology quality assurance standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, testing, and implementation
• Technical and user documentation, software conversion experience
• Exposure to Mainframe, Midrange, personal computers, laptops environments
• Lead in the design of program specifications and software solutions
• Basic SQL/Oracle knowledge
• Experience in Front and Backend processing of Web Applications
• Strong understanding of Business Analysis, SCRUM, Agile Development Methodologies, and Sprint Delivery
