Job Title: Network Security Analyst II (RSA Archer Specialist)

Job Overview

·         The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is seeking a Network Security Analyst II (RSA Archer Specialist) to support enterprise Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) initiatives. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining RSA Archer solutions to ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of critical infrastructure systems.

·         The ideal candidate will work independently on complex assignments while collaborating with cross-functional teams including Information Security, Risk Management, Compliance, and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

·         Design, configure, implement, and support RSA Archer GRC solutions

·         Develop modules such as:

·         Assessment & Authorization (A&A)

·         Controls Assurance

·         Issues Management

·         Custom Archer applications

·         Gather and translate business requirements into:

Technical designs

·         Configuration specifications

·         User stories and implementation plans

·         Customize Archer applications including:

·         Workflows, forms, questionnaires, and data structures

·         Role-based access controls and permissions

·         Integrate Archer with enterprise systems using REST APIs & web services

·         Develop client-side enhancements using JavaScript and jQuery

·         Maintain technical documentation (design, testing, integrations, change logs)

·         Support release management, change management, and governance processes

·         Troubleshoot, optimize performance, and resolve system issues

·         Provide training and knowledge transfer to end users

Required Qualifications

·         4–7 years of experience in network security or related field

·         Must have one of the following certifications:

·         Archer Certified Professional (ACP)

·         OR Level 3 Archer Certified Administrator (Expert)

·         Strong expertise in:

·         RSA Archer platform (architecture, configuration, workflows)

·         GRC frameworks and risk/compliance processes

·         REST API integrations and web services

·         JavaScript / jQuery development

·         Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

·         Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

·         Experience with large enterprise or government GRC implementations

·         Knowledge of security frameworks:

·         NIST, ISO 27001, SOC

·         Experience integrating Archer with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools

·         Background in Information Security, Risk, or Compliance teams

Compensation

Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, BeaconGov provides reasonable range of compensation for this role.
