Our client is seeking an experienced **Senior Cloud Security Engineer** to support an enterprise Microsoft Azure migration and strengthen cloud security across a large public-sector environment.
Required Qualifications
- 13+ years of overall relevant experience.
- At least 8 years of enterprise cloud experience and 5 years of enterprise cloud security experience.
- Strong hands-on Microsoft Azure cloud engineering and security expertise.
- Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Policy, identity security, and network security.
- Experience with Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, SIEM integration, log analysis, and security investigations.
- Knowledge of CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP, vulnerability management, and remediation tracking.
- Familiarity with SEC530, CIS Benchmarks, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53, and Zero Trust.
- Experience in regulated or large enterprise environments; government experience is beneficial.
- Relevant certifications as specified by the client: Azure Security Engineer Associate, CompTIA Security+, and CCSP.
**Preferred:** AZ-305 and experience supporting large-scale enterprise Azure migration initiatives.
