Hello! I'm searching for an IT Project Manager for a long term contract job in Worthington, OH. This person will have more than 5 years of IT PM experience with strong background in IT infrastructure and migration projects. This is a hybrid role and only local candidates will be considered. Pay range is $50-60 an hour W2. This is a 1 year contract with possibility of extension or conversion to FTE down the road. Neither is guaranteed.

Hybrid in the office Tuesday and Thursdays. Only candidates local to Columbus, OH will be considered.
Job Description:
We are looking for a versatile IT Project Manager to support a range of technology initiatives for our client. The primary focus will be leading a Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration and managing the IT planning and execution for an upcoming headquarters relocation. This role will also support additional IT projects as they arise, making adaptability and strong communication essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the enterprise-wide migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11
  • Oversee IT-related logistics for a new headquarters move, including infrastructure coordination and vendor management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Support additional IT initiatives as business needs evolve
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and ensure minimal disruption to operations

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing IT projects, ideally with exposure to infrastructure or end-user device rollouts
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with office relocations or system migrations is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a proactive, can-do attitude
