We''re hiring a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team in Atlanta, GA. This role offers a hybrid schedule, with 75% remote work required.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Must be US citizen or Green Card holder
- 5 years of experience in a technical support position
- 1 year of experience with the following:
- Managing cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment
- Azure (preferred), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or other comparable cloud platform
- Scripting technologies, such as Bash, Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible, Bicep, or Azure Command Line Interface
- Server virtualization technologies and their support technologies (e.g., Azure Stack HCI, VMware, Hyper-V, VRealize, SRM)
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) services framework
- Demonstrated ability to write, debug, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC), PowerShell and Azure CLI scripts
- Understanding and working knowledge of AI Foundry, including model deployments, chatbot deployments
- Familiarity with machine learning
- Understanding of Azure networking services, including Virtual Networks, Azure Gateways, Azure vWan, S2S VPN, and Azure ExpressRoute
- Knowledge of source control management, preferably with Git, and familiarity with branching strategies
- Understanding of cloud security principles and hands-on experience with Azure security tools like Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, Purview and Azure Firewall
- Ability to analyze and optimize cloud costs, using Azure Cost Management, billing or third-party tools
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, EntraID, and other Windows server services
- Strong knowledge of Linux and AIX distributions
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and administer cloud deployments, including configuration of servers, workstations, virtual hosts, terminal servers, access servers, and third-party applications
- Research and make recommendations for new products based on current and projected goals
- Verify cloud deployments and datacenters are run in accordance with guidelines set by upper management
- Develop standards and documentation of cloud deployments and configurations
- Respond to trouble tickets and systems alerts based on defined service level agreements
- Act as subject matter expert for cloud operations and cloud planning
Education/Certifications:
- Associate degree in management information systems, information systems, related field, or equivalent technical training and work experience
