Summary

Requirements

8 or more years of experience in internal auditing and risk-based technical assessments.
Proficiency in Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS/Yellow Book) and IIA IPPF methodologies.
Experience with Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) professional standards and COSO internal control frameworks.
Experience with Diligent audit management software and Microsoft 365 collaborative tools.
Experience in data analytics platforms including Power BI, ACL, and advanced Excel for audit coverage.
Experience with fraud, waste, and abuse investigative procedures including evidence preservation and chain of custody.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee the planning, scoping, and execution of multi-disciplinary risk-based audits through final report issuance.
Manage quality reviews of technical workpapers and testing evidence to ensure compliance with GAGAS standards.
Utilize data analytics and reporting platforms to enhance audit efficiency and technical coverage.
Conduct complex fraud investigations including evidence triage, forensic analysis, and investigative plan development.
Design control testing strategies and risk narratives to identify root causes and remediation timelines.
Direct annual risk assessments and technical audit plan development for senior leadership.
Validate technical findings and track corrective actions through automated issue management workflows.
