Basic QualificationsRequires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Responsibilities for this PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Autonomous Maritime Platforms Business, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of advanced autonomous subsea systems and vehicles. We are looking for a dynamic individual to support our mission of delivering cutting edge solutions to our valued customers.

- Highly skilled in Mechanical Engineering Design
- Strong Proficiency with SolidWorks MCAD and PTC Windchill PDM Software
- Engineering background/experience in the Undersea Domain

- Hands-on experience assembling prototype systems

- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Exceptional communication skills with experience writing technical papers and proposals
