We are Seeking a hands-on Senior Technical Specialist with strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, SQL Server, and enterprise application support. The ideal candidate will lead L3/production support, own deployments and releases, troubleshoot complex production issues, and develop code fixes for business-critical applications.

Role: Sr. Technical Specialist with .NET Core and L3/Production Support

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months

Experience: 15+ years

Hands-on Coding: The candidate must actively develop code fixes and enhancements, rather than rely solely on other developers for resolution.

Production Support: The candidate must take ownership of production issues in the applications they support and actively participate in troubleshooting and firefighting.

Release Management: The candidate must manage releases, deployments, hotfixes.

Multiple Workstream Management: The candidate should coordinate and manage multiple concurrent workstreams associated with the application, covering both technical development and ongoing production support.

Technical Leadership: The candidate must provide leadership and coordination across onshore and offshore teams and flexible with working hours to cover overlapping with offshore team. The candidate should be able to efficiently manage hand over between onshore and offshore to smoothly resolve production issues in time.

Key Responsibilities

·       Provide L3 production support and drive incidents/issues to closure.

·       Develop code fixes and enhancements using C# and .NET Core.

·       Own bi-weekly releases, deployments, hotfixes, and go-live activities.

·       Perform root cause analysis and resolve production defects.

·       Work closely with Product, QA, Release Management, and offshore teams.

·       Take full ownership of assigned sprint stories through deployment.

Required Skills

·       8+ years of software development experience.

·       Strong hands-on experience with:

·       C#

·       .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

·       SQL Server

·       REST APIs

·       Microservices

·       Experience supporting and troubleshooting production applications.

·       Experience with CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps/Jira.

·       Strong release management and deployment experience.

·       Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

·       Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform).

·       Monitoring tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.

·       UI technologies (Angular, React, or Blazor).

·       Experience leading production support teams.
