Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Windows VDI Administrator to manage enterprise virtual desktops, application delivery, performance, and troubleshooting for engineering users.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Windows VDI platforms, images, and applications.
  • Troubleshoot desktop and application issues.
  • Handle patching, user onboarding, and data migration.
  • Monitor performance, capacity, and security compliance.

 

Must-Have Skills

  • Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Enterprise VDI: Citrix, VMware Horizon, or AWS WorkSpaces.
  • Windows imaging, patching, SCCM/Intune.
  • Application compatibility and performance troubleshooting.
  • User profiles, roaming profiles, and folder redirection.
  • Enterprise Windows VDI administration.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • AWS WorkSpaces and hybrid Windows/Linux VDI.
  • Engineering application support.
  • Software packaging and deployment automation.
  • PowerShell scripting.
