We are looking for a collaborative and solutions-oriented Water/Wastewater Design Engineer (EIT or PE) to join our thriving Kennewick office. What You'll DoA civil engineer, in the 3-6 year career range, with experience in water, wastewater, or municipal infrastructure design who is looking to take the next step in their career.

What You'll Work On:As a member of our water/wastewater business sector team, you'll contribute to projects from planning and design through construction. Project types include:
- Water distribution systems
- Wastewater collection systems
- Water and Wastewater pump stations
- Water and Wastewater treatment
- Water storage facilities
- Utility master planning studies
You'll gain exposure to the full project lifecycle while working on projects that have a visible and lasting impact on local communities.
Responsibilities:- Planning and design of water distribution, water treatment, wastewater collection, and wastewater collection systems.
- Supporting projects from concept through construction.
- Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions.
- Working closely with senior engineers and project managers who actively mentor and invest in your growth.
- Working with our other discipline engineers on coordinating structural, electrical, and survey.
- Collaborate with agencies, clients, and stakeholders.
- Organize and conduct meetings with consulting partners, contractors, clients, and agencies.
- Using modern design tools such as AutoCAD Civil3D, WaterCAD, Aquatwin Sewer and MS Office.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Water Resources Engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
- At least 3 years of professional experience focused on water/wastewater or municipal infrastructure projects.
- Experience with planning, design, and construction support for utility projects.
